Sr. 2D Artist

We are looking to fill one or more Sr. / Lead Compositor positions at our new Pittsburgh facility. This is a senior level position and candidates need to be able to dissect, troubleshoot, and execute composites with minimal supervision from other senior staff. In addition as Sr. artist they will also be expected to share their knowledge and help other artists in the facility grow and become better at their craft.
Requirements:
5+ years of compositing with Nuke in a film/tv environment.
2+ years as a sequence lead or lead artist
Matte painting or Environment build experience a plus
Jr. 2D Artist
Pittsburgh
We currently have several openings for Jr. compositing artists. This position is ideal for anyone who has a few years under their belt and is looking to move up from an entry level compositing position.
Requirements:
1+ years of compositing with Nuke in a film/tv environment.
Keen understanding of lighting, animation, and composition.
Ability to take direction and execute on it the first time.
Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Maya, Filemaker, and Photoshop a plus.
3D Generalist

We’re looking for a few amazing 3D generalists! Do you love every aspect of 3D land? Modeling, Texturing, Lighting, Simulation, Fluids, Rendering? If so you’re what we’re looking for. We need a jack of all trades who can easily pick up work from other artists or facilities and generate the assets we need to deliver photo real composites.
Requirements:
3+ years of work with Maya or Houdini in a film/tv environment.
Keen understanding of lighting, animation, and texturing.
Familiarity with Renderman, Arnold, and Octane.
Ability to learn from documentation, white papers, and keynotes.
Experience with generating CG environments (cities, landscapes, interiors, rain, atmospherics, etc) a huge plus.
Do you want to be a VFX Producer? Well, you have to start somewhere! We need a VFX Coordinator to help keep the ship in Pittsburgh running smoothly. This position will be granted a ton of responsibility and leeway to get things DONE!
Responsibilities would Include:
Prepping and helping with bids.
Client management and communication.
Shot Database and Show Tracking upkeep.
Setting up reviews, Note taking, logging, tracking and distributing.
Helping the VFX Sup and Producer schedule and assign tasks.
Requirements:
1+ years of work as a VFX Coordinator or Production Assistant
Proficiency in Filemaker, Excel, Word, Web Searching and Aspera.
Technical background a plus (CE, CS, EE, etc)
VFX Coordinator

Our new office located at 506 W. North Ave on the North Shore needs someone to help keep it running day-to-day. This position will also act as our main reception and take all inbound calls so a friendly and outgoing personality is a must.
Responsibilities would Include:
Answering incoming calls, taking messages, and setting appointments.
Greet guest as they arrive at the studio.
Keep the day to day items in the kitchen stocked.
Manage deliveries and cleaning crews.
Helping manage the property, including troubleshooting issues for other tenants.
Some light research and outbound calling.
Help w/ Savage and 506 Social Media and Blogging.
Organize and plan Savage outreach events.
Minor personal assistant tasks for Sr. Staff.
Requirements:
1+ years of office management or event hosting.
Elite level phone skills.
Web and Email proficiency.
